In Malaysia around 6,000 people are killed on the roads each year. 360,000 are also seriously injured. This burden on Malaysia can be changed.

Malaysia Global Road Safety Partnership (MGRSP) Foundation was established based upon the basic principles of the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) as a foundation to bring together governmental agencies, the private sector and civil society organizations to address global and local road safety issues. Traditionally, road safety has been seen as an unfortunate and inevitable consequence of a mobility based transport system. However the direct cost of the growing number of crashes imposes a heavy burden on the health sector, businesses and families within each local community. Today it is widely acknowledged that multiple stakeholders’ involvement is necessary for effective intervention policies and programmes to address road safety issues. MGRSP Foundation was launched upon the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Ministry of Transport, Malaysia and GRSP in May 2007.

MGRSP Foundation provides the ideal platform for your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. Because MGRSP Foundation is part of a global outfit, you can extend your CSR Programme through your affiliations abroad and at the same time your contributions in Malaysia will be recognized globally.
